STUDIO METROPOLITANA'S FUTURBIA program is proud to cordially invite you to it's Future Workshop Conference, an exciting event that represents the conclusion of Futurbia's first planning period.

THURSDAY Mat 15th and FRIDAY May 16th, 2 P.M. - 6 P.M.
City Hall, Diszterem (District V., Varoshaza utca 9-11)

Invited participants include experts, planners, NGO representatives, expatriates, as well as key decision makers and experts from Budapest's municipal government.

The conference will consist of short presentations from policymakers as well as interactive workshops and roundtable discussions. TRANSLATION WILL BE PROVIDED.

GUEST OF HONOR: Dr. Gabor Demszky, Mayor of Budapest.


STUDIO METROPOLITANA

Studio Metropolitana Urban Research Centre Public Society was founded by the General Assembly of Budapest on 31st August 1995 with the aim “to research” “the social, economic and environmental processes in the region by establishing and international and national research network”, ”to make comparative studies according to the needs of the founder capital” in a way, that “may be useful not only for the community of Budapest but for all the large cities in Hungary”, giving professional support as a public service to local governments responsible for their cities.

Our Mission

Encouraging and organizing cooperative urban planning projects with inter-capital participation;
helping the local government in these areas;

Making the relevant information and know-how available in Hungary; preparing and organizing conferences, exhibits, publications dealing with the desirable and necessary technology-transfer, for other cities as well;

Participation in planning and other decision-making processes making practical use of the activities listed above, for the local governments of Budapest and for other cities as well.

Preparing and organizing events for dissemination, press conferences; publishing booklets, leaflets, CDs and others
