Lesson for Life: Keep Reading

Keep in mind that we're looking for a New Years Eve party that's cheap and all our friends will want to go to.(Simon, a 19 year old German boy, and I are sitting in a restaurant on Dec. 23rd and I'm flipping through an English magazine/guide called Funzine)
Me: Oooh! Simon! This is it! It's a DRAG show - I LOVE drag shows. Do you know what those are?
Simon: yes, I know what a drag show is - you really like them?
Me: yeah i do! They're so fun! we should do this for New Year's Eve - hey look! only 2500 forint (that's about $15) and free flowing beer and champagne - you can drink as much as you want!
Simon: really? let me see!
(i pass the magazine over... Simon proceeds to read it...)
Simon: did you read the entire article?
Me: not all of it, just the first two sentences...
Simon: well, why don't you read the rest of it?
The article: "Far From Angelic" Party with the city's most eccentric drag act, American Desire Dubounet, and friend in the recently opened basement nightclub, Angel's Alibi. For 2,500 HUF, you'll get free-flowing beer and champagne, live music (courtesy of Desire and the Hunz) in a large, bunker-like space fronted by a dance floor, as well as time to roam amongst a spaceship cock-pit and a sex room complete with hand-cuffs, mirrors and wipe clean furniture... English speaking expats are particularly welcome, and you'll need to register as a member. One of less conventional ways to see in the New Year.
O_O whoops. anyway, thought you would enjoy that.
Merry Christmas, kids, and I hope you find the New Years Party of your dreams. If not, you can check out that one. Let me know how the performers are! :)
