Hi Mel.
Google's directory AKA dmoz.org is pretty international. Although it is not so simple to get listed there, it is the biggest on the web. This very site has it's own free business directory, probably you missed it. And as I noticed, it has a good ranking in google, yahoo, msn.

Living in Hungary I find that it is difficult to get exposure for my business on an international level rather than locally.

I found a very good service for listing businesses for free in an international directory. It has just started up but generally it is very well set up.

I think that it could be interesting for many companies in the region to list here as I find that the local listings do not get much exposure outside of Hungary.

It's US based but I think that we can fill it up with Hungarian companies since I am not aware of anything similar here!

If you know any other (preferably free) effective international business listings which could provide more exposure for Hungarian companies I would be interested.
