My arrangements to take a TEFL certification course in Prague have evaporated (partly my fault). Having visited Budapest a few times I could well be persuaded to live there. However, I've been researching the net for schools offering TEFL/ESL certification in Budapest (this fall) but they seem to be few and far between. Does anyone have recommendations I could follow up on. Any and all advice welcome-especially for "older" fifty-something folks. Thank you. Madelene

All language schools pay in Hungarian forints, no one pays in GBP.

If you have a English Language Teaching Certificate a school such as Berlitz or Cambridge Language School would probably be interested in working with you.

Is there a way to teach English in Hungary and be paid in GBP and continue paying taxes as usual in England?

Are there and Hungarian schemes promoting English Teachers from English speaking countries?
